Lard Ass Butter – Returns & Refund Policy

We take pride in making our cultured butter fresh, by hand, and to the highest standard. Because our products are perishable, we are unable to accept returns simply for a change of mind. However, your satisfaction matters to us — if something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it better.

1. Perishable Products

  • Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of butter or other dairy products once they have left our care, unless there is a quality or safety issue.

2. Online Orders

  • If your order arrives damaged, melted, spoiled, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Email contact@lardass.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the product and packaging.

  • We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

3. Farmers’ Markets & Tasting Room Purchases

  • Please check your items before purchase, as we cannot exchange or refund perishable goods due to a change of mind.

  • If you believe a product is faulty, please notify us within 24 hours and return it (or provide photos) so we can assess the issue.

4. General Conditions

  • Refunds or replacements are only offered where products are deemed faulty, damaged, or not as described.

  • We comply with the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your rights to a remedy if products are defective.
