Forget truffle butter. Black garlic is the new truffle. Sweet and earthy minus the garlic kick in the head yet umami-packed with notes of balsamic vinegar and caramelised onion-like flavours wrapped in butteriness. Perfect with meat and vegetables. Great on potatoes. Add to soups on smear over sourdough.
Shelf life - 3 months in the fridge. 12 months when frozen. Keep refrigerated at or below 4C.
